Event Details
UNCG Threads presents our Eighth Annual Fashion Show: The Four Elements. The event will be held at the Empire Room at 203 S Elm Street in historic downtown Greensboro on April 5th, 2013.
Mingling before the event begins when doors open at 7:00pm. Enjoy a glass of your favorite beverage from the bar as you visit vendor tables from some of Greensboro's local businesses.
The show will begin at 8:00pm with our entitled show, The Four Elements. This year's theme was voted on by Threads members and will be translated by design students in the first half of the show.
The second half of the night will feature upper level design students and will showcase their capsule collections. Each student has developed their own collection to show their unique voice as a designer and will have control over their models, music, and inspiration for the second time in Threads' history.
The After party, co-hosted by WUAG 103.1, begins at approximately 10:30 and will feature a live DJ as well as artist Fine Peduncle. After show concert tickets are to be purchased at the door or from a WUAG promoter ahead of time for $5.
General admission tickets as well as after show concert tickets will also be available at the door for cash or check on the night of the show.
Free parking will be available in the venue parking deck on Davie St and February 1. Valet will also be available for a fee.
